At The Compassionate Listening Project, we are on a mission to empower individuals and communities to transform conflict and nurture cultures of peace and healing.

This year, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing the transformative power of Compassionate Listening. We’re training facilitators in some of the world’s most divided and vulnerable regions: a Palestinian bridging divides with Israeli youth, a woman in Lebanon applying this work in the midst of war, and U.S. participants healing political polarization.

I’ve seen firsthand how this practice opens hearts and minds—even in the most entrenched conflicts. Compassionate Listening gives people the tools to build bridges, foster resilience, and transform despair into hope. This work is desperately needed in today’s world, and with your support, it can continue.

Last year, we reached major milestones:

  • Certified 13 new facilitators, including those from Nigeria, Malaysia, Palestine, and India.

  • Expanded our global reach with scholarships and equity-based initiatives.

  • Partnered with organizations to bring healing to divided communities.

These accomplishments were only possible because of supporters like you.

This year, we face significant challenges as we continue to recover from the pandemic’s impact and the absence of in-person journeys, which were a vital source of funding. Despite our best efforts to operate on a shoestring budget, we urgently need to raise $40,000 to sustain our work into 2025.

Your support is critical to:

  • Train and certify new facilitators in conflict zones and divided communities.

  • Develop innovative programs that bridge divides and foster understanding.

  • Make our offerings accessible to those who need them most through scholarships and equity-based initiatives.

Please consider becoming a monthly donor or making a one-time contribution. Every dollar makes a meaningful impact, directly supporting our mission to transform conflict, build bridges, and nurture cultures of peace.

Together, we can keep this light shining brightly in the world.

With deep gratitude,
